Past (1997-2007)

The last decade has seen the Gallery's collection enhanced with a number of important paintings.

Many critically acclaimed exhibitions have been mounted in London and a touring partnership with regional museums has enabled major pictures from the Gallery's collection to be seen outside London.

Education and outreach activities have increased significantly. The main floor galleries have been refurbished and services for visitors have been improved.
