Financial statements to 31 March 2009

During the year, the collection has been enhanced and a number of well-received and popular exhibitions were held.

Many of our pictures have been seen and enjoyed in cities outside London, and the educational programme has continued to expand. Research into the pictures continues with an active publication programme.

All this has been achieved thanks not only to public funding, but in large measure to generous support from private sources and much hard work.
